These are worth the extra money! Perfect holes! Little pressure on a drill press! No burning like the cheaper sets! Search the web for the best price, you can't go wrong!

I had previously ordered the Diablo equivalent of these Forstner drill bits Freud FB-100 16-Piece Diablo Forstner Drill Bit Set and I was dissappointed with the apparent less than stellar quality of the bits - so I returned them. These cost a bit more but they are the superb/quality bits I was expecting before and did not get. I used a couple of them on a piece of oak and Wow! - beautiful, perfect, clean holes every time. I expect them to last a long time but only time and use will tell.

These cut the smoothest holes I have ever seen. I will never own another type of Forstner bit. Expensive but worth it.
